Cephalosporinase

CEFASE is a beta-lactamase used for catalyzing the hydrolysis of cephalosporins such as cephalosporin C, cephaloridine, cefalexin, cefazolin, cefradine, cefuroxime, cefoxitin, ceftizoxime, cefpiramide.

Applications and use
The CEFASE enzymatic product is used for sterility tests and environmental monitoring as well as for the inactivation of beta-lactams from blood or tissue samples before they are subjected to routine microbiological analyses.
