Our skills in molecular biology, biochemistry, fermentations and enzymes/proteins recovery are at your service with the following:

1. gene cloning and gene expression optimisation: if you are looking for enzymatic activities our scientists can screen them from a wide range of natural sources. The genes coding for such activities will be cloned, codon optimised and overexpressed using a wide combination of plasmids/organisms. Mutagenesis strategies for enhancement of protein solubility are also currently employed.
2. optimised expression of your enzymes/proteins: our skills in fermentations techniques guarantees a maximised expression of your enzymes/proteins. A fast optimisation of the fermentation conditions is possible thanks to the availability of dedicated pilot fermentors. The study and optimisation of the protein/enzyme recovery/purification processes can be also carried out by our experts.
3. industrial scaling up and production: each fermentation and extraction process optimised on pilot scale can be scaled up to industrial scale (up to 130,000 lt fermentation scale).
